Park-e Jamshidieh, also known as Stone Garden Park, sits at the northern edge of Tehran where the city meets the Alborz foothills. Built on a rocky slope, the park is defined by stone paths, terraces, and sculptural elements integrated directly into the natural terrain rather than laid over it.
Unlike flat urban parks, Jamshidieh feels topographic and intentional. Large boulders, stairways, and water features guide visitors uphill toward viewpoints overlooking Tehran. The park is especially popular in the late afternoon and evening, when the city lights begin to appear below and the air cools.
