Ferdows Garden & Cinema Museum

Ferdows Garden is a historic garden estate in northern Tehran that today houses the Cinema Museum of Iran. The name Ferdows, meaning paradise, reflects the Qajar-era garden ideal and is not related to the poet Ferdowsi.

The complex combines a late-Qajar villa with a landscaped garden, creating a setting where architecture, film history, and everyday leisure overlap naturally. Inside, the museum traces the development of Iranian cinema, while outside the garden functions as a popular social space with cafés and shaded paths.
